The “Which One Doesn’t Belong?” routine is a math routine where students analyze a set of usually 4 items (numbers, shapes, equations, photos, pictures, etc.) and identify the one that is different from the others, justifying their choice with mathematical reasoning. There’s no single right answer, as the focus is on students’ logical thinking and communication skills.
